Recorded and composed during a residency in Iceland, this release functions as responses to the environments and encounters of the trip, allowing the pieces to feel restrained while still bearing elements of vulnerability and excitement. Using found sounds and field recordings as the textural frameworks for each piece, the music here has an immersive and almost visual quality throughout, personally referential to a time and place.
